Regulation

AquilaFx claims to have a headquarters in Liechtenstein and claims to be “Swiss regulated”, yet no other information was provided. Upon investigating the Financial Market Authority (FMA) of Liechtenstein and the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA), we found no data on AquilaFx at all.

This broker does not possess authorization or supervision from either of these organizations. Furthermore, another financial regulator, the Italian CONSOB, has issued an alert regarding AquilaFx as a potential scam that should be avoided. The website has been labeled as “abusive” and illegal by this authority.

Trading Software

Unfortunately, AquilaFx’s promise of providing the industry standard MetaTrader 4 software was not fulfilled as the download link on its homepage failed to work. This is a major warning sign that all investors should take into consideration when considering investing with them. Upon registering, they only offer a basic WebTrader developed by TradingView, which isn’t bad but still cannot compare with the excellence of MetaTrader. Therefore, it is advised against investing with this broker after it has been exposed as a scam.

Trading Instruments

Do not be deceived by the seemingly impressive selection of trading instruments available at AquilaFx, including 48 currency pairs, major indexes, commodities such as gold and silver, cryptocurrencies, and CFDs. This broker is totally unreliable and unlawful, and reputable brokers usually offer a wider range of assets as well as a secure trading environment.

Trading Conditions

This broker claims to offer fixed spreads between 2.3 and 3 pips for currency pairs, as well as variable spreads beginning at 0.5 pips. While these fixed spreads are not advantageous, they have been known to be quite expensive, so it’s best not to pursue these trading conditions.

AquilaFx offers three account types – Basic, Advanced and PRO – with the maximum leverage of 1:400 being available for the PRO account; however, this is considered to be very risky and speculative which makes it unsuitable for retail traders. Additionally, none of the other accounts provide a better option as they all come with uncompromisingly high volumes that make them unappealing to retail traders.

Deposit and Withdrawal Methods and Fees

AquilaFx has been flagged by the CONSOB as a scam, so it’s best to avoid it and not risk your money. Despite the broker claiming to accept credit/debit cards, it does not and instead promotes three popular cryptocurrency exchange platforms: Payeer, Binance, and Bitnovo.

The minimum deposit for this broker is 250 USD, which is on par with many reputable brokers but also lower-than-average when compared to others who may offer accounts as low as 10 USD. All in all, it’s advisable to stay away from AquilaFx due to its deceptive tactics and misleading information.

No information regarding a Withdrawal Policy can be found anywhere on this website. This is compounded by the broker’s lack of knowledge concerning this topic, making it clear that there is no reliable details concerning its withdrawal requirements.
